The Dr. Coffee Coffee Break Big is a fully automatic bean-to-cup coffee machine designed for high-demand environments such as offices, hotels, and cafés. It features an 8L water tank, allowing for extended operation between refills, making it ideal for venues with high daily volume or limited access to mains plumbing. With a 10.1″ touchscreen, it supports up to 24 programmable beverages and offers one-touch operation for various coffee drinks, ensuring ease of use for both self-service and staffed settings.
The Dr. Coffee Coffee Break Big is a fully automatic bean-to-cup coffee machine designed for offices, meeting rooms, hotel breakfast bars, convenience stores, restaurants, and small cafés that need genuine commercial coffee performance without the complexity or footprint of a manual espresso setup. The “Big” designation refers to the upgraded 8L water tank — four times the capacity of the standard Coffee Break — making this the right pick for venues with longer service periods, higher daily volume, or limited access to mains water plumbing.
Manufactured by Dr. Coffee — a specialist bean-to-cup coffee machine manufacturer with 8+ years of engineering experience and a portfolio focused on commercial environments — the Coffee Break Big delivers up to 100 cups per day, supports up to 24 programmable beverages from a 10.1″ capacitive touchscreen, and runs on a standard 10A power circuit (no electrician required for installation). A 1.2kg bean hopper, 9-level grind adjustment, and one-touch milk frothing with self-cleaning circuit cover everyday espresso, milk-based, and customised drink workflows. Optional mains water connection (G3/4″) is available for permanent plumbed installs, and an integrated milk fridge accessory is available for venues that want temperature-controlled milk storage alongside the machine.

Had my ECM Synchronika serviced by Espresso Works recently and figured the service was worth writing a review of my excellent experience. I bought my machine second hand and immediately encountered a leak from my flow control valve. Another 5-star rated company charged me an absolute fortune and didn't resolve the issue until the second visit. I had to show them how to fix the leak, and that it was two perished o-rings that caused it. The fix only requires 10 minutes of work and a few dollars in parts. They also returned my machine with a dent and several scratches. The reason I include this anecdote is because it doesn't seem uncommon for companies to offer servicing and repairs for premium machines and not actually know what they're doing or take any care in the quality of their work. Espresso Works is a welcome exception to this. Meaghan organised for Dom to both collect and return my machine; both times were prompt and on time. When it was returned, all surfaces had been wiped down and looked almost new again. All my valves, levers and taps are smoother and quieter than I'd have expected them to be on a several year old machine! They listened to what my concerns were about the machine before pickup and these were reflected in the service report on my invoice where each issue was looked into. In short, I highly recommend Espresso Works to anyone with a premium machine, especially those with ECM machines, as the work done on mine is fantastic and the experience interacting with their company was great.Posted on Google![]()

Top quality customer service. Great product range for high-end home coffee machines. I had small issues with my Torre Peppina. They sent a technician straight away to get it fixed and followed up to ensure the machine was working perfectly. I recommend buying with a local like Espresso Works Perth WA for the extra assistance post-sale.Posted on Google![]()

I have purchased several coffee machines from this store and I have always been impressed with the excellent service I receive every time I visit. The staff are knowledgeable and always provide good advice without pressuring me to make a purchase. I have recommended this store to others who are serious about their coffee and coffee equipment and they have all been more than satisfied with their experience. This is definitely the place to go if you are looking for quality coffee equipment and top-notch service. Well done guys!
