The Venus and San Marino Group Head Gasket is a crucial component in espresso machines, serving to create a tight seal between the group head and the portafilter. This seal helps maintain pressure during the brewing process, ensuring optimal extraction of coffee flavours. A worn or damaged gasket can lead to leaks and negatively impact the quality of your espresso.
This gasket is specifically designed for use with Venus and San Marino espresso machines. While it may fit some other models, it is recommended to use the correct gasket for your specific machine to ensure proper sealing and functionality. Always consult your machine's manual or a professional technician for compatibility advice.
Signs that the Venus and San Marino Group Head Gasket needs replacement include visible wear, cracks, or deformation. Additionally, if you notice water leaking from the group head during brewing or if the espresso is not extracting properly, it may indicate that the gasket is no longer sealing effectively. Regular maintenance checks can help identify these issues early.
The Venus and San Marino Group Head Gasket is designed to fit standard group heads found in Venus and San Marino espresso machines. It is made from durable materials that can withstand high temperatures and pressures typically encountered during espresso brewing. Specific dimensions are tailored to ensure a snug fit for optimal performance.
To maintain the Venus and San Marino Group Head Gasket, regularly check for signs of wear and clean the group head area to prevent coffee residue buildup. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could degrade the gasket material. If you notice any leaks or reduced performance, consider replacing the gasket to ensure your espresso machine operates efficiently.
The Venus and San Marino Group Head Gasket typically comes with a limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects. For specific warranty details, it is advisable to check with the retailer or manufacturer. In Australia, customer support is available for any inquiries regarding the gasket or its installation, ensuring you have access to assistance if needed.

Had my ECM Synchronika serviced by Espresso Works recently and figured the service was worth writing a review of my excellent experience. I bought my machine second hand and immediately encountered a leak from my flow control valve. Another 5-star rated company charged me an absolute fortune and didn't resolve the issue until the second visit. I had to show them how to fix the leak, and that it was two perished o-rings that caused it. The fix only requires 10 minutes of work and a few dollars in parts. They also returned my machine with a dent and several scratches. The reason I include this anecdote is because it doesn't seem uncommon for companies to offer servicing and repairs for premium machines and not actually know what they're doing or take any care in the quality of their work. Espresso Works is a welcome exception to this. Meaghan organised for Dom to both collect and return my machine; both times were prompt and on time. When it was returned, all surfaces had been wiped down and looked almost new again. All my valves, levers and taps are smoother and quieter than I'd have expected them to be on a several year old machine! They listened to what my concerns were about the machine before pickup and these were reflected in the service report on my invoice where each issue was looked into. In short, I highly recommend Espresso Works to anyone with a premium machine, especially those with ECM machines, as the work done on mine is fantastic and the experience interacting with their company was great.Posted on Google![]()

Top quality customer service. Great product range for high-end home coffee machines. I had small issues with my Torre Peppina. They sent a technician straight away to get it fixed and followed up to ensure the machine was working perfectly. I recommend buying with a local like Espresso Works Perth WA for the extra assistance post-sale.Posted on Google![]()
