Its compact design makes it particularly suitable for those with limited kitchen space, while the commercial-grade components ensure that serious coffee lovers can achieve exceptional results.
The Rocket Appartamento features a 1.8-litre heat exchange boiler, allowing users to brew espresso and steam milk simultaneously. It is equipped with a commercial E61 group head for optimal extraction, and has a mechanical thermal control system. The machine measures 274mm in width, 425mm in depth, and 360mm in height, with a weight of 21 kg. It operates on 1350W power and has a removable water tank for easy refilling.
The Rocket Appartamento is compatible with a variety of coffee grinders, particularly those that provide a consistent grind suitable for espresso. It is recommended to pair it with a grinder that has a fine grind setting to achieve optimal extraction. Additionally, the machine's steam arm can be used with standard milk pitchers for frothing, making it versatile for different coffee preparations.
To maintain the Rocket Appartamento, regular cleaning is essential. This includes descaling the machine periodically to prevent mineral build-up, especially if you have hard water. The removable water tank should be emptied and cleaned regularly. The group head and steam wand should also be purged after each use to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. For deeper servicing, it is advisable to consult a professional technician.
Compared to other home espresso machines, the Rocket Appartamento stands out due to its compact size and commercial-grade features, such as the E61 group head and heat exchange boiler. While many home machines may offer similar functionalities, the Appartamento's build quality and design make it a premium choice for serious coffee enthusiasts looking for both performance and aesthetics.
The Rocket Appartamento comes with a 24-month manufacturer's warranty, covering any defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty provides peace of mind for buyers in Australia, ensuring that any issues can be addressed through authorized service centres. It's advisable to keep the purchase receipt and register the product for warranty support.

Had my ECM Synchronika serviced by Espresso Works recently and figured the service was worth writing a review of my excellent experience. I bought my machine second hand and immediately encountered a leak from my flow control valve. Another 5-star rated company charged me an absolute fortune and didn't resolve the issue until the second visit. I had to show them how to fix the leak, and that it was two perished o-rings that caused it. The fix only requires 10 minutes of work and a few dollars in parts. They also returned my machine with a dent and several scratches. The reason I include this anecdote is because it doesn't seem uncommon for companies to offer servicing and repairs for premium machines and not actually know what they're doing or take any care in the quality of their work. Espresso Works is a welcome exception to this. Meaghan organised for Dom to both collect and return my machine; both times were prompt and on time. When it was returned, all surfaces had been wiped down and looked almost new again. All my valves, levers and taps are smoother and quieter than I'd have expected them to be on a several year old machine! They listened to what my concerns were about the machine before pickup and these were reflected in the service report on my invoice where each issue was looked into. In short, I highly recommend Espresso Works to anyone with a premium machine, especially those with ECM machines, as the work done on mine is fantastic and the experience interacting with their company was great.Posted on Google![]()

Top quality customer service. Great product range for high-end home coffee machines. I had small issues with my Torre Peppina. They sent a technician straight away to get it fixed and followed up to ensure the machine was working perfectly. I recommend buying with a local like Espresso Works Perth WA for the extra assistance post-sale.Posted on Google![]()
