The Eureka Atom 60E is a compact electronic on-demand commercial espresso grinder hand-built in Florence, Italy by Eureka, the brand crafting commercial and home grinders since 1920. The smallest member of the Atom commercial range, the Atom 60E packs serious performance into a slim 180mm-wide footprint — making it the ideal grinder for compact café benches, busy specialty bars, dedicated decaf stations, or alongside a primary grinder where space is at a premium without compromising on grind quality.
At the heart of the Atom 60E are 60mm hardened steel flat burrs with a special design suitable for both espresso and the full range of filter brewing methods. Driven by a powerful 400W direct-drive motor at 1,350 rpm, the Atom 60E delivers grinding speeds of 1.9–3.1 g/s for espresso and 2.5–3.7 g/s for brew — fast enough for busy café service while remaining gentle enough on the bean to preserve aroma and flavour. Eureka’s patented stepless micrometric adjustment system delivers smooth, infinite grind control with the kind of precision that’s essential for dialling in across light and dark roasts. The hallmark ACE anti-clumping system distributes fluffy, evenly-spread grounds with minimal static directly into the portafilter.
The Atom 60E is built around a colour electronic display with intuitive controls for programmable dosing and a built-in dose counter — perfect for tracking consumption across a service shift. A handy spotlight on the filter holder illuminates the portafilter during grinding, the all-purpose adjustable hands-free fork is robust and easy to regulate, and the high-speed maintenance design makes burr cleaning and replacement simple and fast. The 510g bean hopper handles sustained service in compact-footprint applications, and the silent operation means even the busiest service stays conversation-friendly. Finished in matt black for a clean, professional aesthetic that suits modern specialty cafés and home espresso setups alike.

Had my ECM Synchronika serviced by Espresso Works recently and figured the service was worth writing a review of my excellent experience. I bought my machine second hand and immediately encountered a leak from my flow control valve. Another 5-star rated company charged me an absolute fortune and didn't resolve the issue until the second visit. I had to show them how to fix the leak, and that it was two perished o-rings that caused it. The fix only requires 10 minutes of work and a few dollars in parts. They also returned my machine with a dent and several scratches. The reason I include this anecdote is because it doesn't seem uncommon for companies to offer servicing and repairs for premium machines and not actually know what they're doing or take any care in the quality of their work. Espresso Works is a welcome exception to this. Meaghan organised for Dom to both collect and return my machine; both times were prompt and on time. When it was returned, all surfaces had been wiped down and looked almost new again. All my valves, levers and taps are smoother and quieter than I'd have expected them to be on a several year old machine! They listened to what my concerns were about the machine before pickup and these were reflected in the service report on my invoice where each issue was looked into. In short, I highly recommend Espresso Works to anyone with a premium machine, especially those with ECM machines, as the work done on mine is fantastic and the experience interacting with their company was great.Posted on Google![]()

Top quality customer service. Great product range for high-end home coffee machines. I had small issues with my Torre Peppina. They sent a technician straight away to get it fixed and followed up to ensure the machine was working perfectly. I recommend buying with a local like Espresso Works Perth WA for the extra assistance post-sale.Posted on Google![]()
