SKU SLINGSHOTC68 Categories , Brand:

The Slingshot C68 Coffee Grinder is a commercial espresso grinder designed for cafés that require speed and precision in dosing. With its patented volumetric delivery system, it ensures consistent dosing without the need for scales, making it ideal for high-demand environments. The grinder features 68mm conical burrs operating at a slow 450 rpm, which enhances particle distribution for a richer espresso while maintaining cooler temperatures, thus prolonging burr life.

The Slingshot Dosis C68 is the conical-burr member of Slingshot’s flagship Dosis range — a volumetric instant-dose grinder built for cafés that demand speed, efficiency, and precision dosing. At its heart is a patented volumetric delivery system that holds the same accurate dose every time, no matter how the grind is adjusted — no scales required. Where the S64 and S75 use flat burrs, the C68 employs a 68mm conical burr set spinning at a slow 450 rpm — a configuration favoured for its distinctive particle distribution, producing espresso with a richer, fuller-bodied texture and cooler running temperatures. A precision belt-and-pulley transmission isolates the motor from the grinding chamber to cut heat soak and vibration. With a 450–570W motor delivering a 20g dose in 4–5 seconds and rated for 50kg+ per week, the C68 is a serious workhorse for busy specialty cafés. In Auto mode it preloads the next dose for ultra-fast delivery, with On Demand available for slower service. A WDT-replicating mixing chamber improves distribution, while a sealed Zero-Waste Delivery system keeps every gram clean into the portafilter. An integrated cooling fan preserves grind quality during peak service, and the patent-pending free-standing hopper features a rotating display cap to show coffee origin, roaster, or café name. Finished with reversible CNC honeycomb side panels in Matte Black and customisable to Pure White or Birch Wood, the Dosis C68 is engineered in Perth and built to be both genuinely capable and visually unique on any bar.

Had my ECM Synchronika serviced by Espresso Works recently and figured the service was worth writing a review of my excellent experience. I bought my machine second hand and immediately encountered a leak from my flow control valve. Another 5-star rated company charged me an absolute fortune and didn't resolve the issue until the second visit. I had to show them how to fix the leak, and that it was two perished o-rings that caused it. The fix only requires 10 minutes of work and a few dollars in parts. They also returned my machine with a dent and several scratches. The reason I include this anecdote is because it doesn't seem uncommon for companies to offer servicing and repairs for premium machines and not actually know what they're doing or take any care in the quality of their work. Espresso Works is a welcome exception to this. Meaghan organised for Dom to both collect and return my machine; both times were prompt and on time. When it was returned, all surfaces had been wiped down and looked almost new again. All my valves, levers and taps are smoother and quieter than I'd have expected them to be on a several year old machine! They listened to what my concerns were about the machine before pickup and these were reflected in the service report on my invoice where each issue was looked into. In short, I highly recommend Espresso Works to anyone with a premium machine, especially those with ECM machines, as the work done on mine is fantastic and the experience interacting with their company was great.

Top quality customer service. Great product range for high-end home coffee machines. I had small issues with my Torre Peppina. They sent a technician straight away to get it fixed and followed up to ensure the machine was working perfectly. I recommend buying with a local like Espresso Works Perth WA for the extra assistance post-sale.
